The open plan living area includes a spacious lounge with three couches adjacent to an Italian crafted Brazilian mahogany bar  (which we’re very proud of). From here and next to the open plan kitchen is a dining area with a beautiful 10-seater mahogany dining table and chairs. The kitchen has a Bosch double oven and stove top. A separate scullery section has a dish washer and walk-in pantry.

Off the kitchen is a separate TV lounge (we have specifically kept a TV out of the main lounge) with a 60 cm screen connected to a full DSTV bouquet. Young children can be easily accommodated here, close to parents whilst not intruding on social activities centered around the open plan orientation of the lodge.

A gas fired braai and a Weber charcoal braai are located on the front veranda, which is dominated by a larger custom-made teak table and benches. Do remember to bring charcoal if you’re intending using the Weber. A No 3 potjie pot and gas bottle and fittings is also available.
