POWER OUTAGE

When there are electric storms in the area, we’d recommend unplugging devices which may be sensitive to current surges. The lodge has a backup diesel generator that will be activated by our staff in the event of a prolonged power failure.

Should the backup generator not activate, please contact in the first instance. If for some reason they are not available, please

2. report the fault to Eskom - In the event of a power outage and lodge management not being to hand, please call Eskom on 0860 037 566. On the call follow the instructions to ‘electricity supply problems’, wait for an operator and then quote the account number – 751 884 3921 - under the name of Pine Trout.
