STAYING WARM IN WINTER

 

Fireside blankets and additional bed throws can be found in the lounges and bedroom cupboards. Please ensure towels, bedding or throws in the respective bedrooms are not removed.

All beds are equipped with electric blankets in winter and there are wall panel heaters in the bedrooms. Please see these are turned off during the day.

The lodge, with its north facing orientation and large expanse of windows is in fact unusually warm during the day over winter.

The underfloor heating and heated towel rails have been disconnected. Sadly, the cost of running this electricity is now well out of proportion with the rental rates Amberley is charging.
